About

Jimmy and Julia started J & J Heavy Diesel in 2019. Since then, they have grown the business from a part time, mobile trailer set up to a full time truck mobile diesel fitting operation with a workshop shed.

 

Jimmy has been involved in the industry for over 14 years, working with farming, oil and gas and mine sites. Having a broad range of experience across multiple industries helps us better cater to your mechanical needs, whether it be in our shed or out in the field!

Julia manages the office, with her years of experience in admin and design. Any bookings, accounts or general inquiries are sorted same day by Julia to ensure prompt communication and less down time.

Ethan joined the team in 2023 as a heavy diesel apprentice, having already completed his light vehicle trade. With experience working in the oil and gas and for local council on heavy machinery, he is a valuable asset to the team. He has continued to gained his experience with us, becoming Leading Hand within our team.

Zac has joined us as an apprentice diesel fitter with years of learning and working around the industry. Growing up in the area, he has gained a valuable range of knowledge from fitting to fencing and everything in between.

​

Harry joined us as a school-based apprentice after completing a week of work experience in 2024. Coming from a hard working farming family in the area, he is a driven member of the team, keen to learn everything our industry has to offer.
